As well as our new spring launch, work on The Backwoods Writer is moving right along. The rough draft is down to its last two chapters. So excited to have this one wrapping up!

Once the Backwoods rough draft is complete, I will be ready to work on the second edition of The Heart of Things. I have a new cover already, so need to do a few updates to the manuscript, and some secret extra features, and that will be ready for discovery later this summer. 

Also, you are hearing it here first... I have been invited to do a reading at the Wine Country Writer's Festival this September and have just sent off my press packet to them. So, I will see you all in Penticton this September!

So, exciting times! There are lots of things happening, and I'm thrilled with how 2026 is shaping up.
